Winter Beginner League

The RoughRiders Beginner League is the perfect starting point for new players looking to build confidence and fall in love with the game of lacrosse. Each session blends skills, drills, and live gameplay to create a fun, engaging, and developmental experience for every athlete.

Players will spend the first 30–45 minutes focusing on fundamental stick skills, ground balls, passing, catching, shooting, and movement through high-rep drills and fun challenges. The second half of each session transitions into scrimmages and small-sided games, where players learn to apply what they’ve practiced in real-time situations — improving their decision-making, teamwork, and overall lacrosse IQ.

No experience is necessary! Just bring your energy and a desire to learn. Our experienced RoughRiders coaching staff creates a positive, encouraging environment that helps every player progress at their own pace while building a strong foundation for future athletic success.
